Wm. Farmer and Sons

I had such a great stay here!! I’d cycled from NYC and they were literally outside to greet me, after seeing me cycling through town! The service was top class. The beds are really comfortable and the rooms are luxurious. Me and a friend had a delicious dinner downstairs. The cocktails were really top rate. Looking forward to coming back and having another one soon!

I was just trying to find something to eat. I wasn’t looking for a particular experience BUT just trying to find something to eat. I not only found something to eat; I also found another reason to visit Hudson again soon. My experience here was absolutely stellar and I can easily write a whole novel about it. But I won’t. I don’t need to. If you’re a foodie that finds yourself in this area, please do give this establishment a visit. The menu is well thought out with the components *all* made in house. The approach is similar to fine dining but laid out in a more casual and fun approach. Despite my server obviously having an “off” day, everyone else continued to show their support to him and helped make the whole visit absolutely wonderful. Best part was running into two locals sitting outside having a drink (and semi-plastered) asking how I enjoyed it. They didn’t think I didn’t enjoyed it. They literally was asking how *MUCH* I enjoyed it. That says something doesn’t it? Can’t wait to be back when your menu changes again. Apparently, you cook to your hearts content and everyone around this block knows it and promotes it.

Although William Farmer and sons is a great boutique, hotel and restaurant and bar where you live locally, and we always have William Farmer on a rotation, the food is fresh and is cultivated from neighboring farms and purveyors. You can’t go wrong with any of the dishes there inventive fresh, and something you’re unlikely to see anywhere else.
